We had such a lovely stay at Will and Mike’s farmstay and couldn’t have asked for more wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome, and their communication was absolutely superb throughout, friendly, thoughtful and always so helpful.The property itself was beautiful, with a really special feel to it. It was such a pleasure to stay somewhere so lovely and enjoy the experience. You can tell Will and Mike genuinely care about their guests and want them to have a great stay.We’re so grateful for their warm hospitality and would happily recommend their farmstay to anyone. Exemplary stay from start to finish from two of our favourites hosts to date!The property is stunning, well appointed and feels like home away from home instantly. The surrounds of the property are something special in and around the farmstay where you are constantly in awe of the natural environment as well as the beautiful farm location. The hosts both Mike and Will simply go above and beyond in every considered detail. I can’t commend them high enough for their efforts in ensuring our stay was everything it could be whilst staying on their farm. How quickly we no longer felt like guests, but welcome friends. Don’t forget to get out under the stars in the evening. As I was reminded it took a lot of “planning” to provide such a blanket of stars!Thanks for having us fellas. We couldn’t recommend Will and Mike’s farmstay more! This was our second year coming back for our three-day senior leadership strategy offsite, and once again it was exactly what we needed.It had everything for the four of us to stay comfortably, and the cottage doubled perfectly as our workspace during the day. Every little detail has been thought of throughout the property and the cottage has a good table, a mix of chairs so we could move around and change things up, a TV to project onto, and big ranch sliders that were ideal for covering in post-it notes as we strategised.It’s also just the perfect setting for this kind of work. Being away from the busy work days meant we could properly unplug and focus, and it was lovely to take a session outside and enjoy the sunshine.We can also vouch for Will and Mike’s incredible cooking. Oh my goodness. We are always looking forward to going home by the end of our lovely trips, but there was genuine sadness saying goodbye to this beautiful place, to its animals, and to Mike and Will. The hosts went above and beyond their call of duty when it came to welcoming us onto their property, but also it was clear that they respected our privacy. They took our young boy in as part of the family and let him bottle feed their lamb every day! Apart from the accommodation and surroundings being stunning, the warmth and hospitality shown by Mike and Will was so touching. One of the, if not the best getaway we've ever had. They were incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable and full of character, and the whole experience felt very special. The perfect spot for a restorative weekend away. There were treats on arrival and the place had everything we needed (and more) for self-catering.Mike and Will were very friendly, had great suggestions about what we could do, and let us name a lamb. An absolutely wonderful experience with Mike and Will being fabulous hosts. The place was incredible with beautiful views and we felt so welcome and taken care of. Mike and Will’s place is the perfect quiet retreat, with a little bit of luxury built in! We loved our stay! We were cosy and comfortable, made to feel very welcome and we really appreciated the ‘welcome’ treats, even for our little dog. Thanks so much for the farm tour too, plus when we forgot our fav board game, it appeared for us the next day! We were very spoilt. Will and Mike are born hosts. Thank you both!
